Here are a few of my current obsessions. Feel free to share your favorites in the comments!
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Firebird
I’m usually more of a gloss girl-think Nars or Bare Minerals-but last year my sister showed me this lipstick and I was hooked. A pop of color can go a long way. I would never have tried this color on my own but it works. Who knew a good mood could come in lipstick form?
LouLou Wraps and Ponchos
A former boss recommended this spot in downtown #yeahthatgreenville. I’m turning into a grandma in my middle aged life. I LOVE ponchos. They pull an outfit together and serve as a giant blanket at the same time. When the saleslady showed me a wrap that could be worn four ways, I was sold. I need this in every color. Stat!
Rose Gold Accents
After I decorated my house in copper accents, it only makes sense that rose gold/copper would start creeping into my wardrobe. It is a little different than the usual gold/silver deal. Rose gold aviators, rose gold Micheal Kors slip ons (Homegoods for the win!), rose gold earrings from LouLou….I may have a problem.
Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette
After I tried the Urban Decay Rose Gold Palette, I became a fan. My sister got me the Naked Smoky Eye Palette for Christmas. (I have three sisters. It gets confusing when I write about them. People are like how many do you have? lol) Now I am into the Naked Heat Palette. The red/orange tones won’t work for everyone but complement my skin tone well. Most drugstore eyeshadow palettes have an ashen tone but super pigmented brands like Urban Decay show up well on people of color. Winning!
Kate Spade Handbags
My friend Colleen is to blame for my Kate Spade handbag obsession. In my single days, I didn’t miss a surprise sale deal. Now that I’m married and not living in an urban area where people are not as brand conscious, I stick to one or two bag a year and my Kate Spade wallet thanks me.
