Eating Our Way Through the USA: Lockhart Smokehouse (Dallas, Texas)-Bishop District)
There were signs all over the walls noting this spot’s many awards. It did not disappoint. It is one of Chris’s top 3 BBQ joints ever. He lived in Kansas City so he is a barbecue aficionado.  That may have been the best brisket that I have ever had in my life.

We had beef ribs, brisket, sausage, and sliced bread. You buy it by weight and they chop/weigh it right in front of you. I tried Big Red soda too. I wasn’t a fan. It was too sweet for me and I am a candyaholic.
