Kairos Greek Kitchen

We have a running list of places that we need to try. Greenville is really becoming a major foodie hotspot. So many places to try and so little time! A friend suggested that we try Kairos Greek Kitchen. We were already near Roots on Augusta so we decided to check it out. There is something about a newly constructed space. I loved the homage to the colors of the Greek flag. It was bright, blue, modern and clean inside which was promising.

Kairos is taking a cue from the Pieology concept and has improved on it by having better signage at the ordering bar. They have 5 options (pita, protein bowl, salad, grain bowl and platter) and endless combinations.

Initially, there are a lot of decisions to make-toppings, spreads, sauces an array of toppings. It would be nice if they had a gelato store option of tasting all the sauces. We could never duplicate our order but the end result was good.

Chris had a protein bowl and I had a chicken pita. We both loved our dishes. Very flavorful and good portion sizes!

They carry a line of specialty sodas that are sweetened with cane sugar. They weren’t on par with Sprecher but decently good. I’m a give-me-all-the-calories type person. “Flavor above figure” except that I am going to go on a diet soon for the holidays. The fact that the drinks were natural has no bearing on my decision to drink them but it was nice to know.
