The Nomadik Few Shave Ice

Eating Our Way Through Greenville: Nomadik Few Shave Ice (downtown sidewalk stand)

Chris and I miss Hawaiian shave ice terribly. I think it was one of his favorite things about our trip to Oahu. 😀 We have seen a sidewalk cart near Grill Marks a few times but today we decided to try split a medium shave ice.

They are legit because they use a whole block of ice and a quality machine. It makes a huge difference. It’s self serve for the syrup which is nice. They had a few unusual flavors like cheesecake and red velvet cake. We had hurricane, green apple, cheesecake, and something I can’t remember. 😜

I miss lychee and lilikoi but it was pretty tasty. It “shrunk” after we doused it in syrup but that didn’t stop us from eating it all. Good times! Sean (the owner) is a great guy! They have expanded their offerings to include Italian ice. The coconut is amazing!

P. S. It’s called shave ice in Hawaii. Only mainland people call it shaved ice. 👍😎🌴
