Atlantic Fish Company (Boston, MA)

We are quickly learning that planning our restaurant choices ahead of time is a lifesaver. No one wants to stand in line for 1 1/2 hours to eat at a popular spot. With that being said, Chris had a restaurant reserved in Boston. On the water taxi, a local guy suggested either Legal Sea Food at the harbor or the Atlantic Fish Company.

I have eaten at the Legal Sea Food in Washington, DC. It was excellent but I wanted to try a new place and Legal was crowded. After canceling our reservation, we hopped into a Uber and made it on time to Atlantic with a minute to spare.

They had excellent fresh bread. You could watch them make it through the glass encased  kitchen area. I could have just eaten bread and been fine.

Chris ordered the Captains Platter (shrimp, haddock, clams, mussels, fries). The fried shrimp was good but the condiments were great.

I had the Shrimp Scampi. It had a very bright flavor profile, lingering heat, and fresh shrimp cooked to perfection. The heat was real but the flavor was worth it.

The coleslaw was different. I’m not sure what seasoning was in it but it was tasty. Our friend from the boat did not disappoint!

We will always have that good bread. (Casablanca line)
